- 2025: Highly commended for Varuna’s Trans and Gender Diverse Fellowship
- 2025: Add Pickles NYC Midnight 250-word Microfiction Challenge, Semi-finalist
- The 250-word Microfiction Challenge is an international creative writing competition that challenges participants to create very short stories based on genre, action, and word assignments in 48 hours.
- As a semi-finalist, my short story, Add Pickles, was placed 6th, ranking it in the top ten of the round.
- 2024: Swords & Salmon, NYC Midnight Short Screenplay Competition, Semi-finalist
- The NYC Short Screenplay Competition requires participants to write short screenplays based on a specific prompt and in a very short time frame.
- As a semi-finalist, my short screenplay, Swords and Salmon, was placed 1st within its round.
- 2023: Invited for a Varuna Residency
- Varuna is Australia’s foremost institution for literature development.
- In 2023 was invited back for a residency to work on my novel-in-progress, The Underdog’s Scoreboard.
- 2022: Video Game Writing and a Protagonist You Don’t Control, Kill Your Darlings
- Co-written with Brooke Maggs, Principal Narrative Designer at Remedy Games.
- 2022: The Lost Language featured in Collective Encounters Vol. V by the Storytelling Collective
- After completing the Storytelling Collective Spring 2022 Write Your First Encounter workshop, my D&D encounter was selected to be included in the fifth volume of D&D Encounters.

- 2018 - present: Game reviews and radio content, Checkpoint Gaming on Joy94.9
- Checkpoint Gaming is a radio show on Joy94.9 that focuses on games content through a queer lens.
- I’ve written over 40 game reviews for the Checkpoint Gaming website, appeared on radio episodes, helped brainstorm content for episodes, and developed a social media style guide and strategy for the show. Note: I’m currently on a radio and writing hiatus due restrictions in public speaking due to my VicScreen role.
- Collectively, the Checkpoint Gaming team has been nominated for Samsung IT Journalism Awards in 2019, 2020, and 2021, and in 2019 the show won the CBAA 2019 Community Radio Award for Excellence in Innovative Programming & Content.
